LG Fitness was set up by Lois Gair who is a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer. Lois is extremely passionate about helping people reach their personal fitness goals and general wellbeing, having gone through the journey herself within the last 5 years. Lois’ skills include training pregnant women, training women with ongoing and recovering cancer treatments, fat loss goals and rehabilitation following injuries.
Lois and her team of instructors offer a range of classes from boxing, circuits to pilates at 6am, 7am, 9:30am, evenings and weekends with a programme that changes on a monthly basis to ensure the bodies constantly challenged and that you achieve maximum results. All classes are suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels, you work at your own pace and the team are there to push you.
Lois’ goal has always been to accommodate all females, no matter what their age, background or fitness abilities are, we are proud to offer bootcamp, children fitness classes and beginners level classes to the Dunston community.
In addition Lois, Emily, Kelly & Jess can offer personal training and small group training for those wanting to focus their efforts in specific areas.
Lois’ positive vibe has attracted a massive following at Whickham Bootcamp resulting in a need for Lois to add more classes to accommodate the increasing popularity leading to her opening her own fitness studio.
Lois supports a number of local and national charities and is keen to raise money through fitness. She recently held a very successful charity circuits class for Fellside Primary School, raising funds to buy a defibrillator for use by the local community, she is now in communication with the local authorities to replicate this across across the Gateshead area.
Lois has a strong relationship with the women local refuge centre, where she delivers food on a weekly basis and fundraises to deliver a huge Christmas donation aiming for a years worth of supplies in toiletries, pjs, underwear etc. Lois has also raised money for the Liam Britton Foundation during Mental Health Awareness week and For the last 2 years has led a group of girls running in the Race for Life raising over £16,000.
“Huge thanks to Lois Emma Gair at LG FITNESS for her support in our efforts to raise money to get life saving equipment into our local schools. Lois has helped to raise funds in a bid to get defibrillators in our local schools. Can’t wait to get involved in the next fundraising event to get a defib in clover hill x”

Charity Fundraising Session at Whickham School
I wanted to write to thank you for so kindly donating the proceeds of your session at Whickham School on Sunday to Fellside’s defibrillator fund. I was astonished at the huge amount of money that was raised – over £220! We really appreciate your generosity, and that of the participants.
I am sorry that I was unable to make the session myself. You will no doubt have been aware that there was a memorial service for Lisa Burbidge, who was one of the victims of the Tunisian massacre last summer, on Sunday morning too. Our school has a connection with the family and I wanted to be there to represent Fellside.
Thanks to your donation, another made by the Rotary Club of Whickham, and also funds donated by North East Hearts with Goals, our defibrillator has been entirely paid for by the local community. I think that speaks volumes about the generosity of those, including yourself, who live and work in our locality.
Many thanks again.
September 2016 – LG Fitness held a charity bootcamp to raise money for the local Cancer Patient Transport service, ‘Daft as a Brush’, this one hour bootcamp session raised £169.12
